Just one day, her life changed again! Yesterday, just as Meriam – the Sudanese Christian woman sentenced to
death for her Christian faith – was boarding a flight out of Sudan with
her family, on the verge of freedom, the Sudanese secret police
re-arrested Meriam and detained her American husband and her two
American children.
From 2014-06-24 Meriam free, but not safe
Meriam Ibrahim and her American children are now free. They have been released from death row in Sudan, but they are not safe. Meriam's Sudanese attorneys are now receiving death threats and her
family has received similar threats in the past. They're now hiding in a
"safe house." Sudan has overturned the execution sentence for her Christian faith, but
Meriam and her young American children will not be safe until they are
home in America.
Many had spoken out demanding their freedom. Now, demand the Obama Administration grant Meriam and her children,
20-month-old Martin and newborn baby Maya, safe passage and immediate
