Fast Facts: Ten Ways the Word Relates Uniquely to Israel

1。唯一生存权备受争议的联合国成员国

In the name of social justice, Israel is ...

1. the only UN member state whose right to exist is contested;

2. the only UN member state threatened with annihilation by another UN member state;

3. the only nation whose capital city is not recognized by other nations;

4. the only country victorious in all its existential wars, whose defeated adversaries insist on dictating terms of peace;

5 the only nation whose behavior constitutes a separate, permanent agenda item for investigation at every UN Human Rights Council meeting;

6. the only country condemned by name at this year's World Health Organization assembly as a violator of health rights;

7. the only country annually targeted by over a dozen UN General Assembly resolutions and countless measures by other UN bodies;

8. the only state subject to a global BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) movement;

9. the only nation assailed daily by three UN bodies created solely to advance the cause of her sworn enemies against her (Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Division for Palestinian Rights in the UN's Department of Political Affairs);* and

10. the only nation that is the apple of God's eye (Zechariah 2:8-9).

"He sent me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil...Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst, says the Lord." (Zechariah 2:8-10).  

Keep interceding in faith for Israel and the nations as all are shaken, tested and refined. Your prayers and other acts of intercession do make a difference! You are instrumental in God's justice and glory ultimately covering the earth!
