A video game with some remorse ?

The following article caught my eye today. I know many parents are frustrated by children playing video games filled with killing and blood shedding. Many children are equally frustrated by parents not buying them the cool games. The children believe they 'know' it is not real plus 'all' of their friends are playing (add the whining sound :)

If this article described accurately, the game (DayZ, a zombie apocalypse multiplayer PC game ) might be something parent could let their children try. It may help the children (or adults) to experience some real life emotions associated with cruelty. Make the best in the worst situation.

I hope more game developers, especially christian game developers will see the potential in this and think of similar ways to counter the brainwashing, brain numbing effect of popular violent games.
